Documentation

Simulator File Formats v0.4, plus fault model norcal1. Documents the standard earthquake simulator file formats, including the geometry file, friction file, initial condition file, and event file. The norcal1 fault model is based on Steve Ward's NCA model of Northern California faults. [Download]

Simulator File Formats v0.5. Documents the standard earthquake simulator file formats, including the geometry file, friction file, initial condition file, event file, and station file. Changes in v0.5 include (a) an option in the geometry file to use an x,y,z coordinate system instead of a lat, lon, depth coordinate system; and (b) a new station file to specify the locations of observing stations. [Download]

Fault model norcal2a. Based on Steve Ward's NCAL2 model of Northern California faults. [Download]

Fault model norcal3a. Based on Steve Ward's NCAL2 model of Northern California faults, with the slip tapering at the ends of faults removed. [Download]

Fault model norcal4a. Based on Steve Ward's NCAL4 model of Northern California faults. [Download]

Fault model ALLCAL1. Based on Steve Ward's ALLCAL model of California faults. [Download]

Fault model ALLCAL2, dated 01/07/2011. Based on Steve Ward's ALLCAL2 model of California faults. [Download]
