Venue and Travel Information

The SCEC Annual Meeting is held at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort in Palm Springs, California. Participants are recommended to fly directly into Palm Springs Airport (PSP), which is 2 miles from the meeting venue. The Hilton Palm Springs Resort offers a free shuttle service to/from the airport. Please call the Hilton front desk (1-760-320-6868) to schedule a ride.

Use either the Palm Springs Convention Center or the Hilton Palm Springs Resort as a landmark for searching on preferred travel booking site.

SCEC does not handle hotel reservations. Please plan on booking your own hotel rooms.

BOOK HOTEL ROOM NOW! Rooms at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort is reserved for the SCEC Annual Meeting at the rate of $123 per night. Participants will be able to book rooms from the SCEC room block @ Hilton.

OVERFLOW HOTELS. The following hotels have a courtesy room block for SCEC Annual Meeting attendees:

• Hard Rock Hotel: The rate is $123 per night (not including resort fee of $20 per room, per night). To book click here: SCEC courtesy block @ Hard Rock.
• Palm Mountain Resort: A limited number of standard king rooms are available. The rate is Friday-Saturday $123 per night and Sunday-Thursday $90 per night (1-2 adults per room, resort fee waived). To book, call the front desk (1-760-325-1301) and reference "SCEC" to receive the special group rate. The block of rooms will be held until Monday, August 29, 2017.
