October ShakeOut Activities
October 21st and 22nd, 2014 - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base
Please join us on October 21st for a discussion about "Preparing Post-Incident Geologic Studies for Aviation Support” and on October 22nd for a discussion about the need for post-earthquake information, how it is collected by various organizations, and how information can be organized to make it easy for other organizations to find, access, and most importantly, to use. See the Clearinghouse October 2014 and May 2015 for more information.
The Clearinghouse Fact Sheet states “The Clearinghouse’s principal function is to provide State and Federal disaster response managers, and the scientific and engineering communities with prompt information on ground failure, structural damage, and other consequences from significant seismic events such as earthquakes and tsunamis.” The workflow to provide this functionality continues to evolve, and input from our partners is essential, to make sure we address critical needs and requirements.
