Date: 05/10/2013
Announcing a postdoctoral research opportunity from Emily Brodsky, UCSC:
I am seeking a postdoctoral researcher interested in measuring permeability changes over time in groundwater systems using tidal responses. The emphasis of the project is on unravelling the interactions between the reservoirs and regional earthquakes. The ideal candidate has a good working knowledge of hydrogeology, MATLAB programming skills and experience analyzing natural systems. Experience with seismology is definitely a plus. Modelling skills are also helpful.
Interested applicants should please send their current CVs, 2 publications and the names of 3 references to Emily Brodsky (brodsky@es.ucsc.edu). Funding is available for at least 1 year and extensions are possible.
Applications received before May 15, 2013 will get preference.
