------CMG meeting, Edinburgh, 18-22 June 2012------------------------

The next Mathematical Geophysics meeting will take place during June 18-22, 2012, in Edinburgh. The venue will be the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh. The overall theme of the meeting is "Confronting models with data". The scientific program will have the following sessions: 1. Earth observation, 2. Earth system dynamics, 3. Crustal dynamics, 4. Geophysical fluid dynamics, 5. Atmospheric-ocean dynamics, 6. Rationalising models with observations, 7. Solving geophysical problems.
