This is the second announcement for two NASA workshops on the science of ICESat-II and DESDynI, two missions recommended by the National Research Council’s Decadal Study Report, Earth Science and Applications from Space: National Imperatives for the Next Decade and Beyond (http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11820).

NASA intends these meetings to be the first in a series of workshops and activities to involve the community in the refinement of the ICESat-II and DESDynI missions and to thereby ensure optimal return to science and society.
