Research positions in Seismology at IST, Lisbon

IST (http://www.ist.utl.pt) seeks two seismologists to join its research centre ICIST (Earthquake Engineering and Seismology Group). Research will be aimed at seismic hazard characterization of SW Iberia, namely through the investigation of lithospheric structure and seismic attenuation. The contract is renewable yearly, up to 5 years. Pre-tax annual income is 42.5K euro. Working language is English. Successful candidates will have 3 years of relevant post-doc experience, and will be expected to prepare and submit research proposals and supervise postgraduate students.
