The Berkeley Seismological Laboratory (BSL) seeks applicants for a full-time post-doctoral research seismologist position, available now, until filled. The successful candidate will conduct research on earthquakes/regional seismology. He/she will have an interest in the development and improvement of methodologies in support of regional earthquake response. Ph.D. in Geophysics/Seismology required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience with broadband seismic data. Annual salary ($38,412 to $47,916), depending on experience. This position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension and growth depending on progress and the availability of funding.
