Deadline: Based on conference dates. See the Upcoming Conferences and Deadlines table below.

Overview

The SCEC Transitions Program provides resources and mentoring to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in the SCEC Community. Scientific conferences held at a national level are important opportunities for graduate students and undergraduates to build their professional profiles by presenting their own research, networking with active scholars at other institutions, and broadening their research interests. SCEC Research Travel Awards help students and ECRs attend conferences that might otherwise be out of their financial reach.

The SCEC Transitions Program accepts applications for Research Travel Awards year-round. Applications must be received through the online application submission system by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the deadline date. Travel Award recipients will be notified within 10-15 days of the deadline date.
